History

Sierra Dance Centrepointe started as the "Christine Walsh Dance Centre Rosanna", changing its name in 1999 to reflect the merging of new teaching techniques and technologies practised within the Contemporary Ballet education.

Sierra Dance Centrepointe (SDC) is a dance school focused to fill the needs of students who would like to take dance seriously while continuing their academic education at the institution of their choice. The Centre offers programs in Classical Ballet for girls and boys based on the Russian (Vaganova) Method with classes in Contemporary, Jazz, Pointe, Variations, Tap, Character, Limber-Pilates and Pas de Deux. Open classes are also offered for lovers of dance. SDC’s programs are designed to fit the needs of every student from basic to advanced levels of training. The Centre’s association with dance schools in Europe allows students to develop their skills to a broader and higher level. Whether your child’s dance future is local or international, Sierra Dance Centrepointe will fulfil your needs.
